Safe and stable
The QC-100 gas generator enables quick and safe verification of the operation of detection systems for such gases as: hydrogen chloride (HCl), hexane (C 6 H 14 ), toluene (C 7 H 8 ) and ammonia (NH 3 ). Specially designed, disposable ampoules (so-called Quick Check Vials – QCV ) with solutions from which gases are generated allow for safe transport, storage and use, even in the case of hazardous compounds.
Easy to use
To produce gas using the QC-100 device, install a QCV ampoule with the appropriate solution. At the time of installation, the ampoule is unsealed and the solution soaks into the filter located in the input port of the device. There it begins to evaporate and, using a built-in electric pump, it is directed to the output port, where its concentration is regulated using a manual needle valve. In order to use a gas to calibrate detection systems, its concentration should be verified against a higher-level measurement system. For simple impact or functional tests, this step can be omitted.
